Marilyn Johnson - Administrative/Records Division Manager
The Administrative/Records Management Division converts arrest and Incident Based Report data to computer records. In addition, traffic citation, civil process information, and FOIA requests are processed through this office.
The Professional Standards Division is comprised of Hiring, Training, Accreditation, Public Information, and Internal Affairs. This division is responsible for conducting hiring processes, scheduling and managing training for sworn and civilian staff, ensuring compliance with the accreditation standards set forth by the Virginia Law Enforcement Professional Standards Commission, maintaining effective media relations, and reviewing/retaining internal affairs investigations.
It is the responsibility of this division to test and select only the highest caliber and most qualified professional personnel to serve our community as a King George Sheriff's Office sworn or civilian employee. Selected candidates will become a member of one of the most highly respected law enforcement agencies in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
